The Mule

The Mule will carry the workload of most of your spinning rod needs! This rod is short enough for close-range target casting but has enough length for a good hook set on a long cast. The Mule is considered a medium action rod that is perfect for fishing a wide variety of techniques from Wacky rigged worms, Shakey Heads, weightless stick worms, Neko Rigs, Tube jigs, 2.5”-3.8” Jig head Swimbaits. If you’re the angler who uses a spinning rod for everything then you can do more with this rod, such as crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and topwater. Bass will pull, but The Mule will pull more.

Hog Snatcher

Hog Snatcher was inspired by my late good friend Aaron Martens, who was hands down one the greatest anglers to ever compete on tour. Along the way of Aaron’s career, he got the nickname “Hog Snatcher” because he was snatching up big bass everywhere he went! Aaron’s undoubtedly the greatest finesse angler I’ve ever known.  His attention to tiny details and rod actions were so meticulous. So I want to make sure this rod lives up to his standards. And his trademark color is purple, so I wanted to carry that color on for the Martens Family. Hog Snatcher is considered a Light action with a fast taper and is ideal for light line finesse techniques such as Drop Shot, Ned Rig, Spy Bait, 2.0”-3.3” Jig Head Swimbait, Tiny Crank Baits, Small topwater bait.
